Meet Freya! This beautiful girl is a 2-year-old Mini Aussie x Red Heeler mix who came to us at absolutely no fault of her own. Her family was moving and unfortunately couldn’t find housing that would allow pets, so Freya was entrusted to our care to help her find the loving forever home she deserves.
Freya is such a sweetheart. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long before her gentle, affectionate personality shines through. She truly enjoys being around people and will happily seek out attention and interaction once she feels comfortable.
In her previous home, Freya lived with dogs, cats, and children and was reported to do well with all of them. She already has experience being part of a family and is ready to settle right back into that role.
Freya is also very high energy, which is typical for her mix. She will thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. Whether it’s hiking, running, playing fetch, or learning new tricks, Freya is the kind of dog who will love having something to do and people to do it with.
