Rose is a gentle soul who takes her time getting to know new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet and loyal nature really begins to shine! She’s most comfortable when given space to settle in at her own pace, and she feels more at ease with people she’s had the chance to build trust with. Rose may need a few visits to truly warm up, but for the right person or family, she’s well worth the wait! She’s not particularly interested in toys or treats, but if you’ve got hotdogs, you might just be her new best friend! Rose is looking for a patient and loving home that will give her the time she needs to feel comfortable, and in return she’ll give you her whole entire heart!

Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents).

Crate-trained: Yes! They will settle in the crate easily and are comfortable staying in it for 4+ hours.

Leash behavior: Good! They enjoy walks and are easy to handle while on leash.

Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home.

Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met another dog while in foster care.

Kid sociability: No kids, please! They are afraid of kids or reactive toward them, or they have a history of behaviors that make them incompatible with children.

Likes: Hot dogs, walkies, being a silly goose
