- Loves toys and makes it her mission to find and remove the squeakers in them - A big goofball who is always excited for something new to play with - Does well on a leash - Shy pup who may need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home- Young, noisy or very active kids can be too much for her at this time, so she's looking for a teens-and-up home right now- Will do great with a family who knows how to read her body language and understands when she communicates that she's uncomfortable in a situation - Can be uncomfortable and socially awkward around other dogs and may take some time to warm up; also may prefer some dogs over others and would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro required) - Has been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees (more info at ARL) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
