Meet Lola! This gorgeous girl is in search of her forever home. Lola is a Special Care adoption due to being positive for heartworm disease. We are seeking an adopter able to provide foster care until she has recovered. Lola has started treatment and would need to come back to the shelter for two injections in April, followed by two weeks of activity restriction before adoption. Lola has lived with other dogs and children in the past and likely could acclimate to them again, but a quiet and calm environment would be ideal for her healing process.
